HorrorWolf — Dark Rock with a Punk Attitude
HorrorWolf—formerly known as Brother Wolf—was formed in 2023 by four veteran musicians of the Valencia music scene. The group consists of longtime friends eager to continue a musical journey that began in the late 1980s.
The band blends various influences, notably gothic rock, late-80s L.A. hard rock, heavy metal, and dark British post-punk—all delivered with a punk attitude and an image that matches their musical style.
The band began performing live in 2021, and in early 2022, vocalist Jan Valek completed the lineup, driving an intense schedule of powerful, energetic shows across Valencia and Alicante. In October 2022, the band entered the studio to record "Crazy Lewd"—an introductory release and a preview of their debut album—featuring dark, heavy, and driving guitar riffs, a hard-hitting rhythm section, and deep, sensual vocals full of character.
Their debut album was released on Halloween 2024, preceded by a lead single on September 25 and a short Spanish tour supporting Michale Graves, former singer of the Misfits.
In 2025, the band continued touring Spain, sharing the stage with acts such as the Danish band The Foreign Resort and the Italian group This Eternal Decay. In June, HorrorWolf made their German debut at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival in Leipzig, and in November, they traveled to Mexico to perform at the Dada X club as part of the Festival de las Ánimas.
Throughout 2026, HorrorWolf has been working on pre-production for their second album while maintaining a regular schedule of live performances.
